Johnson Media Inc. Announces a 35% Revenue Increase for the Year 2006
ATLANTA (May 20, 2007) - Johnson Media Inc. today announced a 35% increase in revenues for the year ended December 31, 2006.
Kevin D. Johnson, President and CEO, stated, "While a 35% sales increase is phenomenal, we feel we should have achieved our goal of 45% in annual sales for 2006. The major reason fourth quarter sales were not as high as we anticipated was due to an especially slow market during the holiday season. By launching new products/services and implementing new editorial themes for 2007, we hope to avoid this lull in sales toward the end of the year."
Johnson further stated, "We are very excited about our new business relationships with companies across the country, especially in New York City. I am confident that expanding into other major cities will help us reach our aggressive financial goals for this year."
